I have both the remote and indoor unit sitting next to each other and they are off by 5 degrees -- So its not very accuratenot very accurate.
Next, I realize caveat emptor, but the unit is 7" by 10" but the display is only 3x 5
Now the reason to buy a digital thermometer is to see the temperature especially out side. Everyone has a watch, clocks, cell phones computers, etc. So why make the time disply gigantic and the temperature tiny?? I know its my fault for not looking closely--but this is why you need to go to brick and mortar and not buy on the internet.
I threw it away because it was ergonomically discusting and ordered a product from another manufacturer

I had read the reviews about the display fading on this and was concerned. I have owned the unit and three remotes for over a year now. The displays were fading over time, but after new batteries the display was as clear and bright as the day I opened it. I'm measuring outside temp and also the temp in a hot tub with the supplied probe and both remotes have survived a full year outside without problems. I've been very happy with the purchase. -- Great Purchase
The temperture and time work very well and easy to set up. The "forcasting" is pretty tough to adjust correctly and mine still isn't right. Would have been better just to read out the barometric pressure and the trend. Also dissapointed the 24 hour maximum and minimum has to be reset every day. -- Works OK
It works great and the numbers are big enough to see across the room. I gave it as a gift and they just love it! -- This Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer is great!
The Taylor 1462 Wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer, clock and forcaster is all that I hoped it would be. It's accurate as far as outdoor temp. is concerned and I'm astounded at how accurate it is on the weather forcast. It was very easy to setup and the digital face is large enough to see accross the room. -- Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer
